Diani is Kenya’s most celebrated beach a paradise of white sands, turquoise waters and palm-fringed shores. It’s perfect for water sports, camel rides and luxury resorts. Just north, the Kongo River estuary flows into the Indian Ocean, offering birdwatching and dhow cruises at sunset.

Culture: The region is home to the Digo people (part of the Mijikenda community), known for their sacred Kaya forests and traditions tied to nature. Visitors may enjoy Swahili-inspired music and Taarab dances, blending Arab, Indian and African rhythms.
