Located in Nanyuki, Laikipia County (3hrs from Nairobi)
Ol Pejeta is East Africa’s largest black rhino sanctuary and the only home of the last two northern white rhinos. The conservancy also shelters rescued chimpanzees. Ol Pejeta combines luxury safari lodges with meaningful conservation experiences.
Culture: The conservancy borders the lands of the Kikuyu and Laikipia Maasai communities. Guests can visit nearby villages to experience Kikuyu folk songs, Kikuyu dance (Mwomboko) and Laikipia Maasai warrior stories.
